How To Create A Free Blog On The BlogSpot

Having a blog is a good thing, because you can share everything you want (... and if you make sense, you can also make a decent income from your blog).

I have blogging platforms that create a blog for yourself. I generally recommend creating a blog with your own domain and hosting and creating your blog using WordPress (.org).

We talked a lot about self-hosted WordPress blogging in previous posts and there is no question that this provides a better blogging platform compared to free blogging platforms like BlogSpot.com and WordPress.com.

However, many beginners who want to start blogging do not want to make an initial investment of money to create a blog. This is quite reasonable.

There are many blogging platforms that allow users to create blogs for free. If you are looking for a simple free blog, my suggestion would be to start blogging with WordPress.com or BlogSpot.com.

Once you have some blogging experience, you can become even more professional with a self-hosted WordPress blog.

BlogSpot allows you to create a blog for free, but it has limitations.

But as I mentioned earlier, it is a great way for a beginner to learn how to blog and start the blogging process.

This post is dedicated to "beginner" newbies to blogging and who would like to start learning the basics of the process.

Before getting into the full tutorial, you should know a few things:

First, BlogSpot is a blogging platform powered by Google. It allows you to create a blog, but all your photos are hosted on Picasa (also part of Google). BlogSpot is Google's no-nonsense blogging platform.

Second, if the goal of your blog is to raise money and have a professional looking blog, I would recommend creating your blog with WordPress. It's easy and with our exclusive free WordPress guide you can create your blog in 60 minutes.

To create your free BlogSpot blog, go to BlogSpot.com and sign in with your Google account. If you are a new user, you will see the opportunity to use your Google Plus profile identity, or you can use your limited BlogSpot profile.

After logging in, click "new blog" or click this link to go directly to: Create a free blog

The first thing to do is add a name and choose your domain. Avoid using your personal name as a domain name and instead use a general domain name, which you can then provide with your own domain.

There are a few settings that you need to configure on your newly created BlogSpot blog to make it easier to use.

You are now in the BlogSpot panel where you will see the background of your blog.

Here is a screenshot you should see:

From here, you can click "Post"> "New Post" and start writing your first blog.

But before writing recommend that you go to "Pages at least one "About describes who and what your blog is about.

You can read my post on why you need an "About" page for your blog.

The most important thing is to change your blog template, as the default template is general and tedious (in my opinion).

Here I have free BlogSpot templates that and install on blog. You can also go to "Settings"> "Template" and change the template from there.

On this page you can also add a logo to your BlogSpot blog title and add or remove various other features.

Once you have created some blog posts, go to "Settings"> "Revenue" and enable AdSense for your blog. This allows you to earn money through your free blog BlogSpot.

Then your blog is almost ready and you can start writing posts. There are a few more things that I recommend you do.

I address these issues in the tutorial below.

I started my blogging journey with BlogSpot and then went to WordPress. If you want to do it in the most professional way from the start, you can always check out my WordPress Getting Started Guide.
