The Future of Blogging: My Scary Forecast and Predictions

Dozens of posts have recently been published with the headline “Blogging is dead”. These posts arouse fear among internet marketers and bloggers.

Did they do it with a click bait?

maybe because of lot of people are searching “Blogging is dead”?

Some of them even show me the Google Trends chart below and tell me that blogs are dead.

Blog trends

Let me tell you one thing. Google Trends is based on search data. If there are fewer searches for the keyword "Blogs", Google decides that interest is low.

This clearly shows that the number of people searching for the keyword “blogs” is decreasing.

Blog definition

In 2008, few people knew about blogging and blogging.

But later in 2010, when media and companies began adopting blogging for their deep marketing, almost everyone who uses the internet knows what blogging is.

Therefore, the graph and the number of people looking for the importance of blogging is growing.

The graphics don’t mean blogs are dead.

But still. Here are my predictions and predictions for the future of blogging.

Authoritative blogs are growing - Google's brands

No wonder we live in a world where capitalism is encouraged.

It is known that Google prefers big brands and manipulates results to favor them. This is made possible by Google's ever-evolving semantic and contextual intelligence. This makes it difficult for small bloggers and AdSense publishers to face the competition.

If this trend continues, the SERPs will dominate the content of major brands and corporate websites such as YouTube videos, LinkedIn, Medium, and so on.

Popular networking sites now also encourage users to create content on their platform so that they can further retain visitors to their site.

Big brands hire content writers faster so they can cover content in every possible niche.

This will continue to happen.

However it will be a slow change.

You need to focus on as an authority niche. You should stop trying to create more micron websites.

More needs quality content

Blogging is getting harder and harder every day. I feel the heat.

If you were to publish an article with a targeted keyword in 2010, it would rank easily.

But now, due to the ever-increasing competition on blogging and the maturity of Google in intelligence, you have to beat the competition with quality content indexes to really win on Google.

Google recently added artificial intelligence and machine learning to its search in the form of the Rankbrain algorithm. You have the ability to fully understand the content and rank the content according to quality.

According to an SEJ report, Google Rankbrain is actually one of Google’s top three factors.

You really need to emphasize creating good quality content to differentiate yourself from other content in your niche.

Because Google is on its way to analyzing content more effectively than people.

People are becoming more demanding. Due to overloaded information, people only follow a few blogs in their niche. They subscribe to these blogs and follow them regularly.

When it comes to the blogging world, for a reader it’s like “The first bad impression is the last impression”.

You really have to learn the art of attracting your readers with beautiful content on your blog or they will leave you.

This trend will continue as people become more selective about the content they use online.

The growth of content marketing

Content Marketing

More and more people are interested in learning more about content marketing.

Content marketing seems to create strategic blogs to inform your potential customers by delivering appropriate and consistent content. Help your potential customers with their decisions, go through the sales funnel and let them take advantage of promotions.

In simple terms, content grows to educate potential customers and sell a product.

Blogging is becoming one of the forms of inbound marketing instead of just sharing content. Today most of the content in popular niches on the internet is written by content marketers.

Bloggers need to be able to adapt quickly to master content marketing, in-depth marketing and editing. That is the need today.

People who need quick information cannot watch the videos or listen to podcasts. Blog posts are still the best format for fast content consumption.

  • Increase in content consumption
  • Content consumption is growing
  • That's the good point.

The global consumption of online content is growing at a very good pace. There are many niches, and new ones are revealed every day, new niches that have little or no competition.

This means that the demand for content writers is growing.

You just have to find a niche that you are passionate about, that has relatively little competition, and is just starting to create content.

Companies like Google are working to make the Internet more accessible to everyone and the world. Digital consumption will almost double next year.

Google Knowledge Graph steals traffic

Google will now answer all your questions about the SERP itself. It kills a lot of organic traffic to the websites. The google map is still starting up, imagine what it will look like when Rankbrain and A. fully launch it.

The top 5 blogs appear on the Knowledge Map. Most of the best websites are like Wikipedia and other big brands.

However, the knowledge graph cannot remove all blog traffic. But it would have a huge impact on small publishers (often unpopular keywords).

It is not yet clear how much the knowledge graph will evolve.

If you excel in a non-competitive niche, your content is higher on Google's Knowledge Graph.

An employment model will shine in content creation

Blogging will never die. Starting a new blog and growing it will be necessary forever due to the great pressure on authority and trust. Like I said before, Google prefers big brands and websites with great authority on their own.

As you may have noticed, the continued growth of big blogs will hire content writers and bloggers for their businesses. The employment model in the blogging industry will continue to grow.

Solo entrepreneurship becomes more difficult as the days go by.

Creating content on an already established platform that starting on your own blog seems more doable. It already calls to post content like LinkedIn, Medium, and even Facebook. They will be your blogging platform.

Smart ContentBots

Writing is one of the robots that can be easily automated, with artificial intelligence and machine learning skills. Many articles have already been written by robots. As mentioned, a robot program wrote 10,000 Wikipedia articles in one day.

This trend continues

Automation of the writing process continues in this ever-automated world. This saves big news and content publishers a lot of money and time.

However, some types of content are not effectively manipulated by robots. However, they can write content based on facts and pre-eaten statistics.

You need to learn effective skills to create and edit content. Content bots are lagging behind when it comes to writing engaging content and writing engaging content.

Did i scared you?

Let's be honest.

Thats the reality!

Being aware of reality and learning new skills that will be considered important in the near future will be a lot. Technology wants to progress by discovering new opportunities. We have to be smart enough to do it ourselves.

We need to quickly meet new challenges in our lives, and we must be quick to meet the new challenges that lie ahead.
